Prof. Dr. Imad Y. Hoballah

Prof. Dr. Imad Y. Hoballah is the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and External Relations and Professor of Business Development at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), UAE. With over 35 years of leadership experience spanning academia, industry, technology, and business development across the US, Middle East, and Africa, he has held senior roles, including Minister of Industry in Lebanon, Provost at the American University of Dubai (AUD), and CEO of business development and innovation consultancies. Previously, he served as Chairman and CEO of Lebanon’s Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRA) and held executive positions at Lucent Technologies, ITU, and AREGNET. Prof. Hoballah holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University and an MBA from Columbia University, USA.
